Mission:
Astronaut

Mission: Astronaut ventures into space and encourages visitors to learn about life as an astronaut with hands-on STEM challenges.

Each section challenges the visitor to use an astronaut’s mindset to solve puzzles focusing on engineering, physics, mathematics, teamwork, and most importantly, fun! Solving each challenge lets the visitor collect badges to recognize their accomplishments.

  • The exhibition, set primarily in space, is centered around an explorable space station
  • Interactive Mission Control: Learn about engineering and astronaut training
  • Flight simulator: Pilot a capsule!
  • Help fix the Airlock with tools you engineer
  • AR Interactive: Put on a spacesuit and go on for a spacewalk!
  • Design your own research project in the Experiment Module
  • View breathtaking live views of space from the Cupola
