Our Role:

Overview:

Building on the success of the Australian Museum and Flying Fish collaboration, the Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) engaged Flying Fish’s expertise to assess the potential of a newly conceived exhibition for a global tour. Originally developed as a regional exhibit, Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO® Bricks was enhanced with additions to attract a wider audience and sustain an extensive international tour.

Working closely with MHNSW, Flying Fish expanded the exhibition, doubling the number of LEGO towers, creating new marketing materials, and developing custom crating and logistical solutions for the tour. The outcome was an expanded exhibition featuring 20 skyscrapers from North America, Asia, and Australia, intricately constructed by a LEGO® Certified Professional. After six months of meticulous preparation and exceptional sales and marketing efforts by Flying Fish, the exhibition premiered at the Magic House in St. Louis, Missouri, attracting a record attendance in December 2016.

This tour enhanced the MHNSW brand and generated significant financial returns, providing the necessary funds for reinvestment into a broader international touring program, underscoring the effectiveness and longevity of collaborating with Flying Fish. The exhibition continues to tour, captivating audiences across North America and establishing itself as one of our most popular exhibitions.
