Our Role:

Overview:

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Flying Fish designed and fabricated Apollo: When We Went to the Moon, an interactive, artifact-rich exhibition. It explores the causes and forces that sparked the Space Race, a decades-long rivalry between the United States and the USSR. The exhibition, featuring objects and artifacts from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s archives, sets the scene of the era, exploring the social and political forces

During the year of the exhibition’s premiere presentation, the Rocket Center welcomed more visitors than any other year since it opened in 1970.

The exhibition continues to tour science and history museums throughout the U.S. under Flying Fish’s management.
