Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures is finally opening at the Mystic Seaport Museum on June 8, meaning you can finally descend 20,000 leagues under the sea if you happen to live in Mystic, Connecticut — or, if you dare visit the aptly-named town on a nautical adventure.

Among the many things to do and see there, New Haven Register highlights the heart of the exhibition, “Nemo’s Victorian-era submarine, the Nautilus. The structure is 60 feet long and divided into five sections, allowing visitors to weave in and out at their own pace.” Not only is the Nautilus a pirate’s treasure trove of lost knowledge, family fun, and photo ops in and of itself, but curious visitors to Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures at the Mystic Seaport Museum can also take up the navigation controls, look through periscopes, crank the propeller, play the bubbly organ, or explore Nemo’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
