I took my kids & two of their friends to Science World and all 5 boys were absolutely amazed at the Artemis Adventure exhibit. We went through the Canucks Autism Network, as my middle child has autism, and also brought friends, twin boys who have ADHD. I include this detail because my husband and I were gearing up for an intense day of chasing / corralling 5 hyperactive and extremely inquisitive boys, aged between 2 and 9. Boy, were we ever wrong. It was the most peaceful and enjoyable morning you could ever imagine, because these kids sat & built, enthralled for HOURS
They didn’t even go to a single other exhibit the whole day we were there. The three 7-year-olds are all huge Lego fans, and it’s usually Lego madness at our house, but the combination of having some directed inspiration plus free play was really something else (usually it’s either “i need to buy a new Lego set to build” or “i don’t know what to build”). It was awesome just to see them play and focus and build something they were all really proud of. Thanks for creating such a fantastic exhibit.

My family and I saw the Julia Child exhibition [Julia Child: A Recipe for Life] at The Henry Ford and it was superb! You made me fall in love with her all over again, and I learned new, fascinating details. My daughter loved the interactive aspects -smelling the bouillabaisse in a heavy copper pot and recreating the bathtime Valentine’s Day card, and debuting her own cooking show! It really was such a fun time, and I can’t wait to take my mom to see it.

Voyage to the Deep – Underwater Adventures had a great run at The DoSeum. We had a record in interest, marketing pickup, and dwell time. It is a STEM exhibit that is easily marketable and visually dynamic. We found that all ages in our target demographic (ages 0-12) and their adults enjoyed the exhibition. A great catch with plenty of pun opportunities!

The Henry Ford has worked with Jay Brown and Flying Fish to bring four traveling exhibits to our guests over the past five years, and we look forward to working with him in the future. Jay is the only CEO I have worked with who personally came on-site to serve as part of the installation team in a boots-on-the-ground capacity.
This level of knowledge of the technical aspects of exhibits, as well as the relationship it fostered with our team, helped build trust. The team at The Henry Ford always looks forward to working with Flying Fish.

I have known Jay and worked with him on various projects for over three years. During this time, we have worked together in several capacities, including when Jay led the licensing, planning, and execution of the most attended exhibition in the history of my organization.
Most recently, I reached out to Jay for assistance in negotiating a large, high-profile traveling exhibition. His knowledge, experience, and perspective during these negotiations proved invaluable to me in negotiating a favorable deal with the exhibition supplier.
Jay’s exhibit industry knowledge enabled him to clearly articulate to me the strategic negotiating areas to focus on, as well as the potential pitfalls to avoid. Jay’s professionalism, first-rate production and project management skills, and superior knowledge of traveling exhibitions, from exhibit selection through to bump-out, make him a fantastic weapon in my organization’s arsenal. He is truly the shot in the arm the exhibition industry so desperately needs.

Jason Brown and I first worked together when he led the planning, logistics, and production of Planet Shark, a large traveling exhibition hosted by the Centre des Sciences de Montréal in March of 2013. He worked closely with us to ensure all of our needs were satisfied, installation costs were minimized, and the exhibition would be up to our high-quality standards for opening day. Furthermore, he designed and fabricated a series of children’s interactive stations for our opening.
Jay came back in September of the same year to oversee the dismantling, packing up, and logistics for shipping the exhibition while leading a team of our in-house staff. The work went very smoothly and was completed a day ahead of schedule. I found Jay to be a true professional, possessing excellent project management skills, effective and fluid communication, as well as being a very effective leader.
He has an innate ability to lead a group and unite them towards a common goal. He works tirelessly to provide his clients with everything he’s promised and more. I warmly recommend Jason Brown as an excellent traveling exhibitions professional who leads by example and provides significant added value to a project.

The team at Flying Fish treated our institution with nothing but complete professionalism and integrity. They listened to our goals and were always willing to work with us to find a solution. Their passion for the industry has left an impact that will keep the company’s name in the forefront of our minds for future temporary exhibitions.

Flying Fish Exhibits gets it – they know what it takes to make meaningful visitor experiences happen. The success of our first project with Flying Fish motivated us to seek more of their products as we came to respect them as professional, honest, fair players in the Featured Exhibits market. Their team understands the needs of science centers, our visitors, and the value of cultural experiences.
