We’re excited to announce that Flying Fish has joined The Exhibitions Group as their newest corporate member during their milestone 40th anniversary year.
The news appeared in the organization’s March newsletter, reaching hundreds of museums, galleries, and cultural venues across Europe and beyond. As the UK’s leading network for exhibition professionals, membership connects us directly to prestigious institutions—including fellow new members, the Royal College of Physicians Museum, and the National Trust for Scotland.
The newsletter also featured four of our upcoming exhibitions in its “New Exhibition Opportunities” section. Explore those featured exhibitions below—including the stellar Stardust: The Universe in You, the fascinating Mysteries from the Deep: Exploring Underwater Archaeology, the thrilling Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission, and the remarkable Artemis Adventure with LEGO Bricks—all launching this year!
Stardust: The Universe in You is a cosmic revelation—an immersive, visually stunning exploration of the universe designed to make the vastness of space feel personal and accessible. Geared toward children ages 6-12, the exhibition is anything but elementary. It breaks down the complexities of quantum physics, star formation, and the sheer scale of the cosmos into relatable, intuitive experiences that spark curiosity in visitors of all ages.
At its core, Stardust transforms intimidating scientific concepts into something tangible. Custom-animated media, breathtaking visuals, and hands-on interactives bridge the gap between abstract science and everyday understanding. The formation of stars is likened to the growth of a tree, and the incomprehensible passage of cosmic time is made graspable through dynamic comparisons. The result? A seamless blend of art, science, and storytelling that makes even the most advanced astrophysics feel accessible.
The exhibition is as much a work of art as it is a scientific journey. Every element—from its elegant design to its cutting-edge interactives—is meticulously crafted to draw audiences in and keep them engaged. Whether it’s a child discovering space for the first time or an adult with a deep passion for the cosmos, Stardust creates a shared experience that resonates across generations. It’s a reminder that we are all part of something bigger.
Stardust: The Universe in You premieres in May 2025. The traveling exhibition is produced by Flying Fish in collaboration with Spark Initiatives and supported by Cosmosphere and TELUS World of Science – Edmonton.
Mysteries from the Deep: Exploring Underwater Archaeology is an exhibition that puts visitors in the role of underwater archaeologists, inviting them to engage with fundamental tools, breakthrough technology, and interactive challenges. Navigate sonar mapping, pilot a remotely operated vehicle (ROV), and analyze 3D models of shipwrecks and ancient ruins. Through hands-on exploration, Mysteries from the Deep reveals how experts decode history from the ocean floor—one discovery at a time.
“Flying Fish believes in elevating untold stories and spotlighting fields that deserve greater recognition,” said Jay Brown, Principal & Managing Director of Flying Fish. “In partnership with the Intrepid Museum, Mysteries from the Deep brings underwater archaeology to the forefront, showcasing the science of discovery and the remarkable human stories behind it, exactly the kind of compelling, underexplored subject we’re passionate about sharing.”
More than an exhibition, Mysteries from the Deep is an invitation to explore the unknown. Perfect for history lovers, science enthusiasts, and curious minds of all ages, it offers a rare opportunity to uncover the hidden past and experience the thrill of discovery.
The traveling exhibition is co-produced by Flying Fish and the Intrepid Museum and premieres in June 2025.
Opening Fall 2025, Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission uncovers the little-known story behind one of history’s most iconic shipwrecks, revealing the Cold War mission that led Dr. Robert Ballard to the final resting place of the RMS Titanic in 1985.
Spanning six immersive sections, the exhibition dives into covert military objectives, groundbreaking search technologies, and deep-sea discovery. The “Top Secret Zones” blend multimedia storytelling, hands-on mission tasks, and exclusive audio from Dr. Ballard himself—bringing the thrill of exploration to life.
The exhibition also includes a reflective memorial honoring the Titanic’s legacy alongside cutting-edge innovations that continue to unlock the mysteries of the ocean. Designed with modular flexibility and dual-language interpretation, Finding Titanic offers an engaging experience at the intersection of history, science, and discovery. The exhibition is produced and toured internationally by Flying Fish in collaboration with Ocean Exploration Trust.
Launching June 2025, Artemis Adventure with LEGO® Bricks invites dreamers and builders alike to think big and build even bigger—linking creativity and engineering through NASA’s Artemis program and the timeless appeal of LEGO bricks.
Spectacular LEGO sculptures—including the Space Launch System and Gateway: Lunar I-Hab—anchor the experience, while interactive build stations challenge participants to design lunar landers, power Moon bases, and solve real-world space challenges. Free-play areas stocked with LEGO® and DUPLO® bricks spark creativity for all ages.
Through thoughtfully themed sections, the exhibition explores the people, purpose, and future of space exploration—seamlessly integrating science curriculum standards and universal design principles to ensure accessibility for all. The exhibition is produced and toured internationally by Flying Fish with support from Science World British Columbia.
