What was the best lesson you learned this year?
Best lesson I learnt was just how important that rainy day fund is, always hope for the best, but plan for the worst. One thing COVID really hammered home was that I took travel for granted. I always thought that I could go anywhere at anytime, then COVID hit and erased that possibility, at least for a while. So, for me, I am probably most excited for the return of global travel in 2021…or maybe 2022.

Did you welcome a new pet into your home?
Not really a pet but, we had a massive Huntsman spider that moved into our house, we named him George. It became a bit of a daily ritual to try and find where George was in the house (we may have been suffering from lockdown crazies). George was a pretty cranky bastard but we let him stick around for about three months before I accidentally rolled him up in our window blinds…..then…. there was no more George;(. RIP George.

What was the best lesson you learned this year?
I think this year just highlighted how important family is and how much we enjoy getting back to the family farm.

What was the best movie you watched this year? Book you read?
Best movie – The Peanut Butter Falcon (bloody great movie)!
Best Book – Also a tie sorry: The ethical Omnivore – It’s kind of a cookbook but with interesting stories entwined. The second is courtesy of Ed Ballard actually and it’s called – The king of Algonquin Park. I’m currently reading that, and I am thoroughly enjoying that.
